About The Event
Come hang out and help us reach our goal of sending 20,000 letters to Staten Island voters. This is the final public party. All are welcome!
Join Staten Island Women Who March (SIWWM) at ETG Cafe for an afternoon of camaraderie and action to move CD11 forward, with our partners Vote Forward (www.votefwd.org) and Fight for a Better America (www.fightforbetter.org). We will write letters together to the voters of CD11.
CD11 has joined the Vote Forward portfolio to help flip our district with their personalized letter writing technique. Research shows that personalized letters targeted to voters can encourage them to show up to vote as much as canvassing. In Alabama in 2017, targeted letters to voters increased turnout by 3.9% compared to voters who didn't receive letters. This effort can turn an election!
All are welcome. Come and bring a friend, your partner, your parents, your co-workers, all the neighbors on your block. Letter-writing supplies and food will be provided, and beer and wine will of course be readily available.
